LEMURIA: Legendary lost continent of the Indian ocean said to be the original
Garden of Eden and the cradle of the human race. The existence was
theorized in the nineteenth century when scientists sought to explain
Darwin's theory of evolution of similar species from a common
ancestor.
LEY: Alignments and patterns of powerful, invisible earth
energy said to connect various sacred sites, such as churches,
temples, stone circles, megaliths, holy wells, burial sites and other
locations of spiritual or magical importance.
LIGHT BODY: This is your astral body, which if you could see it
with your physical eyes, looks like a sparkling body of tiny,
brilliant white lights. Its shape is identical to your physical body.
LOGOS: Greek, to speak, for a word; the word by which the inward thought is expressed or the inward thought itself. In philosophy, the reason, thought of as constituting the controlling principle of the universe and as being manifested by speech (And the word was made flesh). In Christian theology, the Word of God; Jesus as the second person of the Trinity.
LOWER SELF: Also referred to as the ego (little "e", different
from the Ego, capital "E" used to describe the Higher Self). This
term refers to your physical personality, your physical conscious
mind, and your physical body. It is the part of yourself that
requires the most discipline. It reacts rather than responds, can be
over-emotional, easily distracted and is concerned with the logical,
rather than the intuitive, point of view. When it is trained to
integrate with your Higher Self, it is a most useful vehicle. It is a
necessary part of you and is not to be looked down upon, but rather
revered as the temple of the soul. The integration process of Higher
Self to lower self is accomplished through meditation, spiritual
studies and conscious awareness of the effect of your thoughts, words
and actions on the physical body and your personal environment.
