MAGIC: The
ability to effect change in accordance with one's will and by
invoking the supernatural accomplished through ritual, in which
cosmic powers, supernatural forces, deities or other non-physical
beings, or the forces of nature are invoked and made subservient
to the will of the magician.

MANIFESTING: The same as the
dictionary definition, to bring something into being. In metaphysics,
manifesting means to create with thought through visualization and
imagination and see it "manifest," or happen, in the physical plane.
MANTRA: Certain sacred names and syllables used in Hindu and
Buddhist spiritual practices which are use verbal, semi-verbally and
silently. The correct pronunciation and intonement of the mantra is of
utmost importance, creating powerful vibrations, which in turn affect
the vibrations of all things in the universe, including deities and
lower spirit beings.
MATERIALIZATION: The appearance of seemingly solid objects and
spirit forms out of thin air.
MEDITATE: The best definition of this term is to go within and
listen. The purpose of meditation is to contact your Higher Self and
receive its message. Meditation is also a tool for stress control. To
meditate requires the stilling of the conscious mind and going beyond
the images, fears and desires of the subconscious mind and daily
living. Meditation gives you access to higher levels of mind where all
knowledge is stored, and from which peace of mind flows. In healing,
meditation is used to lower blood pressure, to build energy in the body
to steady the mind for better productivity and to reduce stress.
MEDIUMSHIP: In today's world, mediumship is called "channeling".
It is the ability to translate messages or information from one plane to
another. The individual is then a "medium" between the planes or
dimensions of communication.
METAPHYSICS: The study of the human mind to act and know beyond physical senses and reality. The study of metaphysics includes the esoteric side of many other subjects, such as psychology, quantum physics, philosophy, theology, science and world religions. It is a branch of philosophy that deals with the nature of existence and the search for and study of truth and knowledge as it relates to our “inner” or “higher” selves, as well as, the universe and its energies.
MIRACLE: An occurrence that is perceptible to the senses,
transcends the natural course of events, and takes place within a
religious context.
MYSTICISM: The belief in or pursuit of unification with the One
or some other principle; the immediate consciousness of God; or the
direct experience of religious truth.
